Further to FSAI food alert 2018.28, the FSAI has been notified of additional batches of Whitworths Granulated Sugar that are being recalled, due to the possible presence of small pieces of metal wire. The implicated batches were sold in Iceland stores. Consumers who purchased the implicated batches are advised to return the product to the store it was purchased from for a full refund.
